Volunteers

We are seeking support from people who are willing to assist The Asthma Foundation of WA and join our great team of dedicated volunteers.

By contributing your time and effort to any of the below you are giving in a positive manner to The Asthma Foundation of WA and the goals we have set. We advise you well in advance of when we would like assistance and then you can confirm whether or not you will be available. You only assist us when it suits your calendar - or your inclination! The ways in which you can help are as follows:

Mailout Assistance

We have several mailouts during the year from our West Perth premises, and any time at all you can offer is much appreciated. Lunch is provided as well as the good company of our current team of volunteers who are very friendly and make newcomers feel most welcome.

Triple E

We are always in need of volunteers who would like to be involved on our Triple 'E' program. Triple 'E' is a new and exciting project which brings together children with asthma to build friendships while enjoying, Education, Exercise and Entertainment. These fun-filled events combine dynamic recreation activities with education on the self-management of asthma. Children can bring along a friend or brothers and sisters who would also benefit from general asthma knowledge, including asthma first-aid.

Database Entry

The Foundation has a large database to manage and requires assistance form anyone who may have the skills to help or be willing to learn some new skills.

Event assistant

If you are able to help on the number of exciting fundraising events the Asthma Foundation presents, your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Volunteering for Events

General Administration assistance

The Asthma Foundation require volunteers to assist in general office administration, which could range from photocopying, collating, telephoning, filing, shredding, mailing, or computer work.
