Download the Asthma Friendly Schools Recognition Checklist from www.asthmawa.org.au/pdfs/RecognitionForm_WA.pdf, complete the details and send back to us. You can fax it to (08) 9289 3601 or email to afs@asthmawa.org.au.
If your school is currently unregistered the Asthma Friendly Schools team will post you a copy of the Asthma Friendly School Guidelines and a copy of the Teachers Resource.
The AFS Guidelines contain all the information your school will need to successfully become an Asthma Friendly School including:
- Strategies for adopting the Asthma Friendly School model
- Obligations for schools and teachers regarding students with asthma
- Sample of an Asthma Friendly School model
- Sample of a Student Asthma Record form
- Information on spacer devices, Asthma First Aid and Exercise Induced Asthma
