1 in 6 children currently has asthma. It is a common but complex condition which affects both the child and their family. Childhood asthma is quite unlike adult asthma and therefore requires education and support services targeted towards this specific group.
The Project is a 1-year pilot project funded by Variety WA, specifically tailored to WA children with asthma. The project is based in the Foundation’s West Perth office and will service people within the central metropolitan region. Some asthma education options are available state-wide.
