Welcome to the HBF Freeway Bike Hike for Asthma (FBHA) 2010 event, WA’s largest cycling event which is conducted on closed freeways!

The HBF Freeway Bike Hike for Asthma is on Sunday 21st March 2010, and we are looking for 300 fantastic volunteers to help make this event a great success!

The event caters for beginners through to elite cyclists and includes a 60km Bike Hike from Kwinana Train Station, a 10km Family Bike Ride from Greenwood Train Station and a 30km Tunnel Bike Ride from Belmont Park Race Course with all three rides finishing in the City of Joondalup where there will be plenty of food, drink, music, prizes, entertainment, and much more!

The HBF Freeway Bike Hike for Asthma is a major fundraising event for the Asthma Foundation of WA. By volunteering you can be part of a team committed to helping more people cycle, as well as help raise asthma awareness and have plenty of fun doing it!

The positions available include:

  • Parking Marshals
  • Venue Marshals
  • Course Marshals
  • Village Marshals
  • Rehydration Station Marshals
  • Train Station Marshals

Volunteers will be placed at the start and finish sites and also at the various stations along the way including Cedric Street, Whitfords Avenue, Kwinana Train Station, Belmont Race Course, Greenwood Train Station and Joondalup. Please note that volunteers will also be required to attend a pre-event briefing sessions.
