Asthma Week 2008
1 person dies every 11 days of asthma in WA.
Asthma is serious…but we can take control.
September 1st—7th is National Asthma Week
This is the national week for promoting asthma awareness, education and self management. A range of education and support activities will be held throughout the state to raise awareness of this condition and to assist the 220,000 West Australians living with asthma. Please stay tuned to the website for more information and updates on upcoming events.
It is our mission to be able to provide free services including education sessions for the community and support for people living with asthma all year round. However in order to do this we require ongoing support from the West Australian community.
