For 2014 the Asthma Foundation WA will be funding Project Research Grants, New Investigator Grants, PhD Scholarship Top-Ups and the Vi Watson Vacation Scholarships.
2014 New Investigator Grants - Now open
The aim of these grants is to attract new researchers to the asthma field and to give them a "step-up" into the competitive national grant funding system. A New Investigator Grant allows new researchers to collect the preliminary data required to apply for ongoing funding by other bodies (eg NH&MRC). New investigators are defined as those not having previously been named as a Chief Investigator on national competitive grants.
New Investigator grants of no more than $25,000 (excluding GST) are preferred.
2014 Project Research Grants - Now open
These are traditional project grants, aimed primarily at established investigators.
Project Research grants of no more than $25,000 (excluding GST) are preferred.
