Talks for families of children with asthma

Thanks to the generous support of Telethon, the Asthma Foundation WA will be offering a FREE talk for parents and carers of children with asthma each month from May to October 2011 in our West Perth Offices. Both day-time and evening talks will be available.

Come along to learn about asthma, correct use of delivery devices, asthma medications, trigger management, how to recognise worsening asthma and life-saving asthma first aid. We will also give you tips and support to help you work with your child’s school, child care centre or sports club to ensure kids with asthma are in a safe, supportive environment.

Talks will be conducted at Asthma Foundation WA, 36 Ord St West Perth. To book your place please call 9289 3600.

If you can’t make it to one of these talks, please call to discuss other free Asthma Education services that may be available in your area or at a more convenient time.

Please note child-care is not available at the talks. Please arrange alternative care for young children.
