RAC Freeway Bike Hike for Asthma - Fundraising Update

  Posted: 29/02/12

The fundraising tally for the 2012 RAC Freeway Bike Hike for Asthma is really starting to tick along - but there's always room to ramp it up even more!

With less than 2 weeks to go before 9,000 bike riders hit the freeway, the fundraising tally is now almost at $40,000. What a great effort, thanks to everyone who has fundraised so far!

There is still a long way to go before we reach our target of $150,000 though. The Asthma Foundation WA is encouraging everyone participating in the 2012 RAC Freeway Bike Hike for Asthma to rally their friends and family behind their ride, start up a fundraising page at www.fundraise4asthma.org.au and help us reach our target!

All money raised through the fundraising website will go directly to funding vital asthma and respiratory research, as well as education and training programs within the community to help the 225,000 West Australians living with asthma.

Asthma is a top 8 national health priority and the number one cause of hospitalisation in children - it is a very serious condition that requires serious action. So it's time to get on your bike!

Register to ride at www.freewaybikehike.com then start raising some serious dollars with the help of your friends, family and colleagues to help those living with asthma breathe better in the future.

Asthma. It's about time...
