Improving asthma outcomes for children
Asthma Foundation WA, in partnership with Asthma Australia, is keen to build on the good relationships between families and schools and preschools to improve asthma outcomes for children and to ensure that asthma does not get in the way of children’s learning and development.
We already train education staff in the management of asthma emergencies: currently over 60% of schools and 25% of preschools have had their staff trained through Asthma Australia on how to provide asthma first aid.
