The Asthma Foundation of WA, a Registered Training Organisation, offers training opportunities for health professionals and organisations with an interest or need in the area of asthma. A range of training options are available to help manage asthma within a variety of settings. The training package is designed according to your professional requirements and is delivered at our West Perth Training Centre or at your organisation if required.
Asthma Educators Course
A course that aims to increase knowledge and understanding of asthma and enable the learner to implement and conduct asthma programs in the workplace or community.

Qualification |
Upon successful completion of this course participants will receive a statement of attainment, comprising the following units of competency:
HLTCOM301B - Provide specific information to clients
HLTCOM404B - Communicate effectively with clients
CHCPROM401B - Share health information
CHCCD402A – Develop and provide community education projects
HLTPOP402B - Assess readiness for and effect behaviour change
Asthma Educators will also receive a complimentary Asthma Educator Membership which entitles you to access a unique section of the website complete with asthma information, developments and interactive access with other asthma educators. |
