Asthma Foundation WA is a Registered Training Organisation and offers training opportunities for health professionals and organisations with an interest or need in the area of asthma.

A range of training options are available to help manage asthma within a variety of settings.

All training is designed according to your professional requirements and is delivered at our West Perth Training Centre or at your organisation if required.

Asthma Educators Course

A four day, accredited course that aims to increase knowledge and understanding of asthma and enable the learner to implement and conduct asthma programs in the workplace or community.

WA Spirometry Training

This two day course aims to provide the essential skills and knowledge so that the person completing the course is competent in all aspects of performing high quality spirometry.

Asthma Workshop for Health Professionals

A "hands-on" workshop designed for health professionals to learn essential and critical skills.

Asthma Seminar for Health Professionals

This seminar is designed to build on asthma knowledge and increase awareness of current asthma management protocols in a variety of settings.  The seminar is presented by a number of speakers including respiratory specialists, immunologists, nurses and asthma educators.

Asthma in Schools

A one hour session which provides information and training for school and pre-school staff to learn about asthma management and how to respond to an asthma emergency.

Emergency Asthma Management 21886VIC

A three hour, Nationally Accredited course providing up to date asthma management information, practical asthma First Aid skills and guidance with the development of asthma policies.

This course meets the requirements for Child Care Regulations.
