Childcare Centres and Schools
We can provide your child's childcare centre with guidelines to assist in providing a safer environment for children with asthma. Our Community Asthma Educators can conduct Asthma First Aid sessions for staff and parents/carers and we can assist the centre with strategies to become 'Asthma Friendly'.
Sporting/Recreational Groups and other Community Organisations
Do you belong to a sporting/recreational club or community group? The Asthma Foundation of WA can conduct asthma workshops for your members, staff, coaches or instructors. Information provided in a session includes Exercise-Induced Asthma, how to recognise worsening asthma and how to administer Asthma First Aid.
Workplace Education
Trained Asthma Educators are available for on-site sessions with staff at your workplace. The sessions are usually 1 hour in duration but can be tailored to suit your needs.
