Asthma Foundation WA is launching a FREE Cross Country Resource Pack for National Asthma Week 2011. The pack is also highly recommended for the management of other major sporting events. A recent survey of WA schools found that 64% of WA schools have had to assist a student with asthma during a cross country event; 72% during a major sporting event eg athletics carnival and 7% of schools have had to call an ambulance for a student with asthma at a sporting event. To order your Cross Country Resource Pack (limit of 1 per school) simply fax your school letterhead page (with full address details please) to Asthma Foundation WA on (08) 9289 3601 requesting “ONE CROSS COUNTRY RESOURCE PACK” and include the name of the staff member requesting the pack.
